A map of Gardenpath, Maryland. At the very center of town is Emma Goldman Plaza, marked by a fountain. Eight straight paths radiate out from the center, with various smaller curved paths snaking throughout the town. Closest to the plaza you have the Fireside Cafe, the grocery/pharmacy/liquor store, the salon/barber, the gym, the library, the hardware-and-print shop, the clinic/dentist, and the cinema. The Post Office is a large building just past the cinema and cafe, and the Town Hall is opposite just past the library and gym. To the west and east are AER High School and FDR Elementary. Further out are a large community center, a community greenhouse, four firehouses (one in each corner of town), a cobbler and laundry, a bakery, a deli, a pizza place, a church, a mosque, a synagogue, a Zen center, two flea markets called Misk Market -- one indoor and one covered, four large apartment buildings, and many houses. There are underground tunnels leading through and between several of the buildings. There's a large sports field and a pool on the outskirts of town with an underground tunnel leading to and from the gym. Also on the way out of town there's the Public Works building and a gas station and auto repair shop. Most of the town is surrounded by woods, with arrows indicating the train station to the northwest and the NAIL to the east.
